Keeping Your Team Positive
With the current market conditions, how do you motivate your team and keep them positivie and focused on their goals?
I think now more than ever it is important to be actively out in the field visiting each sales person to let them know they have your support. Keeping a temperature reading on your team is vital. I like bringing in trainers and motivators so they don't get tired of hearing my voice, but follow thru with what is being addressed so it is not left in the training room. A steady diet of support is what has worked for me.
Paul Silverman is a Marketing Director and Licensed Real Estate Broker with over 14 years in the New Home and Real Estate Industry. With experience in sales, marketing and construction, Paul shows a true understanding for many aspects of real estate.
Paul has recently been awarded the 2008 National Award for Region 5 Marketing Director of the Year, the 2006 PRISM Award for Marketing Professional of the Year, and was one of four finalists for the 2006 & 2007 Texas Star Awards for Marketing Professional of the Year. In addition to these awards, Paul has nine professional real estate designations.
Having a positive sales trainer come in to work with the group is very motivational. It gets them fired up and makes them work together.
